Glenville woman indicted on DWI in fatal pedestrian crash

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenville woman accused of driving drunk in a fatal pedestrian crash was indicted Thursday on several charges. Morgan Lange is accused of hitting Joshua Soden, 29, with her car in September 2025. She was indicted on the following charges: Around 10:15 p.m. on September 8, first responders were called to a parking lot on Hemphill Place in Malta where they found Soden pinned under Lange’s car. “At the scene, Josh was trapped underneath the vehicle for an extended period of time, and they had to work very, [it was] very difficult to get him removed from underneath that vehicle,” said attorney Ryan Finn previously told NEWS10. Soden suffered traumatic brain injuries and was later taken off life support. He and Lange were coworkers. “My understanding is that there was a group of coworkers from Bentley’s that went out to dinner at Lagos, celebrated down there and then continued their celebration at Bentley’s. It is important to note that Josh was not drinking himself,” Finn explained. Police said Lange's blood alcohol level was 0.12 percent.
