Gates multi-car crash: Four hospitalized, two in critical condition
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Multiple people, including a child, were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Buffalo Road near Howard Road. According to Gates police, the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. Thursday morning. There were three people in the white vehicle — including a child — and one in the black vehicle. A pole landed on one of the vehicles. According to the Gates Fire District, the child was trapped in the white SUV and was extricated. All four victims were taken to a nearby hospital — two of them are in critical condition. Police say one of the individuals is a child, but it is unknown what the condition of that child is. The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time, but police say the black SUV rear-ended the white SUV. Stay with News 8 WROC as we continue to update this developing story.
