Four individuals hospitalized after collision in Schenectady
Four individuals were hospitalized following a collision in Schenectady early Friday morning, according to Schenectady Police Department reports. The incident occurred around 4:12 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Delaware Avenue. In their investigation, authorities determined that one vehicle veered across the double yellow line on Broadway, leading to a head-on collision with another vehicle. Both cars had two occupants each, and all four individuals were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash, a man from Gansevoort, was apprehended by the police for charges including driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain the proper lane, and failure to stay within a single lane.
