Rhonda Sexton, 51, faces a felony homicide charge. The crash reportedly occurred on April 26, 2025 on State Route 4. According to an investigation by the sheriff's office, Sexton was driving northbound when she allegedly crossed the center line and hit a southbound car. The driver of the southbound vehicle, identified as 48-year-old Keri Pike from South Glens Falls, was taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where she died from her injuries, authorities said. Sexton was reportedly also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 51-year-old was arrested on Thursday after the sheriff's office determined that she had "acted in a negligent manner," leading to the crash. She was charged with criminally negligent homicide. Sexton was arraigned at centralized arraignment before being released, the sheriff's office said. She is set to appear at the Kingsbury Court on a later date.
