Former Whitefish Bay associate principal sentenced following fatal collision

The former associate principal of Whitefish Bay, Rebecca Salomon, was recently sentenced to six years in prison with an additional three years of extended supervision for causing a fatal accident while driving under the influence. The incident occurred in December 2024 near West Bend in Washington County. Salomon pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. She had failed to yield at an intersection, resulting in a collision that led to the death of another driver. Salomon expressed remorse and apologized to both the victim's family and her own before the sentencing. Blood tests revealed her blood alcohol content was over the legal limit at the time of the accident.
