Former Bengals wide receiver in serious condition following ranch accident

Jordan Shipley, a former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, is currently in the hospital with severe burns following an accident on his ranch in Burnet, Texas. University of Texas athletic director John Bianco shared an update from Shipley's family, stating that Shipley was operating a machine on his property when it caught fire. Despite managing to escape, he sustained significant burns and was initially taken to a hospital before being care-flighted to Austin. Shipley, who was drafted by the Bengals in 2010 and had subsequent stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is currently in critical but stable condition. He played college football at the University of Texas, where he excelled as a wide receiver and earned All-American honors. Shipley now runs Shipley Ranches as the broker and owner.
