Florida toddler killed on Memorial Day weekend after being struck by car
A toddler was killed on a Florida beach after running into a traffic lane and being struck by a vehicle Saturday. Seventh Avenue at New Smyrna Beach. The two-year-old girl was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene. Impairment or speed do not appear to have been factors in the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
