Fire truck vs. bus crash closes Tejon and Bijou intersection
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) fire engine collided with a private transport bus at the intersection of Tejon Street and Bijou Street, near Acacia Park, at around 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, closing all four lanes of traffic, according to CSFD. CSFD reported that Engine 3 was involved in a collision with a bus from a private transportation company. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), all four directions of traffic are closed surrounding the intersection, and drivers should choose alternate routes.
