Felony charges against Warren crash suspect move to circuit court

A woman from Harrison Township is set to stand trial for several charges related to a car crash that occurred in December 2024 in Warren, Michigan. Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Diamond Glenn, aged 27, has been transferred to Macomb County Circuit Court following a preliminary examination at the 37th District Court in Warren. Glenn is facing charges including second-degree murder, attempting to evade responsibility at the accident scene resulting in death, and assaulting or obstructing a police officer. The next court appearance will be the arraignment in circuit court on September 18. The charges stem from a collision on December 21 involving two vehicles at the intersection of Mound Road and Chicago Road. Glenn was driving a Ford Escape and allegedly tried to flee the scene, while the other driver, Christopher Andelean, aged 69 from Sterling Heights, tragically lost his life in the crash.
