Fatality reported after 18-wheeler falls from overpass on SH 130 in Williamson County
At least one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash sent an 18-wheeler off an overpass onto State Highway 130 in Williamson County on Monday, the Texas Department of Public Safety said. The crash occurred at SH-130 and Chandler Road. Williamson County deputies responded just after noon, according to the sheriff's office. DPS troopers are investigating the incident. The Round Rock Police Department is also on scene. All southbound lanes of SH-130 at Chandler Road remain closed. DPS said the roadway is expected to stay shut for an extended period to allow for the investigation and cleanup. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes and to slow down or move over for first responders and emergency vehicles in the area.
