Fatality at McDonald's drive thru
A tragic accident occurred in a McDonald's drive-thru lane in Nebraska, resulting in the loss of a 69-year-old man named Michael Dickinson. According to Grand Island Police, Dickinson was pinned between his vehicle and the building. Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene where they found Dickinson trapped. The incident is being investigated, but authorities have described it as a "freak accident." Police suspect that Dickinson may have opened his vehicle door to reach out for payment, leading to the tragic event. An employee who tried to assist from the passenger side was also injured but is expected to recover.
