The Louisiana State Police are currently looking into a fatal crash that took place in Thibodaux on Wednesday evening. The incident claimed the life of 36-year-old Thibodaux resident, Isaiah Thomas. The State Police reported that at approximately 9 p.m., a deputy from Lafourche Parish attempted to pull over Thomas on Louisiana Highway 308. Thomas then proceeded to lead the deputy on a high-speed pursuit along the highway. The chase was eventually terminated by the deputy, but Thomas continued to speed on the road.
