Fatal single-car crash in Lake County, FHP reports.
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday morning in Lake County, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. An unfortunate accident took place on Mascotte Empire Road and Justamere Lane in Groveland at approximately 6:45 a.m., involving a 2010 Lexus ES that overturned. Sadly, the driver did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene. The FHP has stated that the circumstances leading to the crash are still being investigated. As a result, Mascotte Empire Road is currently blocked in both directions; however, motorists can opt to take Bay Lake Road as an alternative route.
