Fatal pedestrian accident on Peters Creek Parkway, according to Winston-Salem Police
A pedestrian accident has resulted in a fatality as reported by the Winston-Salem Police Department. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, near Clemmonsville Road on Peters Creek Parkway. The victim, Muhammed Lawrence, aged 30, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved in the crash, who was unharmed, cooperated with authorities. Initial findings indicate that Lawrence entered the southbound lanes suddenly from the median area. Due to the darkness and his dark clothing, the driver was not able to avoid the collision.
