Fatal pedestrian accident on Monday morning
A tragic auto-pedestrian accident has resulted in the loss of one life in West Jordan, Utah. The incident occurred at 9300 South and Redwood Road on Monday morning when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk. The victim, a person in their mid 50's, was taken to the hospital but sadly did not survive their injuries. The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and is assisting the authorities with the investigation. The area from 9150 South to 9300 South will remain closed for investigation until further notice. Identifying details of the victim including name and gender are not yet available.
