Fatal motorcycle crash near Dolphin Expressway, one dead and another hospitalized, according to FHP
A tragic incident occurred near the Dolphin Expressway involving two motorcyclists, resulting in one fatality and another individual being hospitalized. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the two motorcyclists were riding together on the ramp to eastbound State Road 836 when one of them lost control of his motorcycle while navigating a curve, leading to a collision with the guardrail. The impact caused the motorcycle to then crash into the other motorcyclist on the scene. The individual who collided with the guardrail sadly passed away, while the second motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported to Kendall HCA Hospital. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the second rider. The exit ramp was closed for investigation, and updates on the situation will be provided as it unfolds.
