Fatal motorcycle crash in Henry County
Early Friday morning in Henry County, Indiana, a tragic incident occurred resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The Henry County Sheriff's Office was alerted about fallen utility lines obstructing traffic on State Road 103 around 2:53 a.m. Reports indicated that the lines fell after a motorcyclist collided with a utility pole. Due to safety concerns of live wires, deputies had to wait for Indiana Municipal Power Agency crews to confirm the wires were not live before approaching the scene. Sadly, when first responders were able to reach the motorcycle, they found an unresponsive male, later identified as William Wooten of New Castle, who was pronounced dead. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
