Fatal motorcycle crash claims life of Dallas County man
DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. — Law enforcement has reported that a Dallas County man has died after a crash on Monday, March 23. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, a 39-year-old Buffalo man died around 7:25 p.m. on Missouri Route JJ, two miles west of Long Lane. MSHP states the man was driving a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit Motorcycle south when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the road. Officials say the motorcycle struck a tree and the man was ejected, coming to a rest on the right side of the road. The man was pronounced dead on the scene by Dallas County Coroner Sarah Drake on the scene. This is the 24th traffic fatality in 2026 for Troop D.
