Fatal Motorcycle Accident Involving Tractor-Trailer
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department reported a fatal accident on Monday night involving a motorcyclist and a semi-trailer. The incident took place at the intersection of Gardner Avenue and North Bellefontaine Avenue shortly before 8:40 p.m. The collision occurred when a Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a Peterbilt truck's trailer as it was making a left turn. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist, who was traveling at high speed, was run over by the trailer's rear tires after going underneath it. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and it is unclear whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time.
