Fatal motorcycle accident at Beltway 8 and SH 249 in Harris County
A tragic incident occurred in northwest Harris County on Tuesday morning resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The collision happened at approximately 2:40 a.m. on the eastbound service road of Beltway 8 at SH 249. Reports from the authorities suggest that the motorcyclist was stationary on the road when a car rear-ended the motorcycle. The impact caused the rider to be thrown off the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the car involved, who was not under the influence of alcohol, sustained minor injuries and is providing full cooperation to the investigation.
