Fatal Monday morning motorcycle accident in Billings
A tragic incident occurred in Billings early Monday, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:20 a.m. on U.S. Highway 87. A 42-year-old man from Billings was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on First Avenue North before merging onto the highway at a high speed and colliding with a center cement divider. The impact caused the motorcycle to go airborne and ejected the rider. Tragically, the man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
