Fatal head-on crash with semi-truck leaves 21-year-old dead in West Virginia
FORT GAY, W.Va. (WTRF) — A Kentucky man was killed Monday in a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer in West Virginia, according to West Virginia State Police. Troopers from the Wayne Detachment responded to the crash along U.S. Route 52 near Cedar Heights Road in Fort Gay. Investigators said a Toyota Rav4 driven by 21-year-old Braden N. Murry was traveling northbound when it crossed the centerline and struck a tractor-trailer head-on. State police said Murry was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver, identified as 42-year-old Christopher Keesee of Louisa, was not injured. Authorities said Murry’s next of kin has been notified. The crash remains under investigation.
