Fatal head-on collision on Route 16 in Ossipee leaves one dead, two injured
According to authorities, a tragic incident occurred on Route 16 in Ossipee, resulting in one fatality and injuries to two others. The crash occurred on Thursday evening, involving two vehicles - one heading south and the other north. The vehicle traveling south veered off the road and collided with the northbound vehicle. A passenger in the southbound vehicle unfortunately passed away, while the driver sustained serious injuries. The driver of the northbound vehicle, who is from Massachusetts, also suffered severe leg injuries. The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened, as authorities continue to investigate the accident.
