Denver police probe fatal collision with pedestrian on I-70 near Peoria
Denver authorities looked into a fatal collision on I-70 close to Peoria Street that involved a pedestrian in the early hours of Friday. The incident took place a little after 3 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Peoria and involved a pedestrian and a driver. Unfortunately, the pedestrian passed away. The police are currently examining the circumstances that led to the accident. The eastbound lanes of I-70 were shut down following the collision and remained closed during the investigation. Traffic resumed at 6:15 a.m., and drivers were advised to find alternative routes while the lanes were closed.
