Fatal crash on I-95 in Greenwich claims life of 89-year-old.
An 89-year-old woman from New York has tragically passed away after a three-car crash on Interstate 95 South in Greenwich. The incident occurred near the Exit 3 entrance ramp from Field Point Road. The collision involved a Mazda, a Porsche Macan, and a Subaru Crosstrek. The Subaru veered into the center lane, colliding with the Porsche, causing a chain reaction that resulted in the Subaru rolling over and sliding along the road. The driver of the Subaru, identified as Jill Newmark Haskel, sustained serious injuries and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. No other injuries were reported, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Trooper Daniel Sottini.
