Fatal crash on I-88 in North Aurora, ISP confirms
Illinois State Police have confirmed that a two-vehicle collision on I-88 near Mitchell Road in North Aurora resulted in the deaths of two individuals on Saturday evening. The incident occurred on I-88 westbound near milepost 118 after 8 p.m. Sadly, the victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Further information about the crash is limited as it is currently being investigated. Following the collision, two lanes of traffic were temporarily closed but have now been reopened, according to ISP.
