Fatal crash on I-20 in Fort Worth on Tuesday morning
Early this morning, a tragic collision in Fort Worth resulted in the loss of two lives and left another individual in critical condition, according to a statement from the Fort Worth Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday on I-20 near Granbury Road, involving a pickup truck and an SUV. Sadly, a passenger was ejected from one of the vehicles and pronounced deceased at the scene, while both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles. Emergency responders arrived to find one driver deceased and the other in critical condition, who was subsequently transported to a hospital. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed. Following the crash, all lanes of I-20 were shut down for approximately 4 hours, with two lanes reopening to traffic at 6:40 a.m. Authorities from the Fort Worth Police Department's traffic division are currently investigating the incident.
