Fatal crash near Sox Park leaves 2 dead and 2 injured
Two women lost their lives and two men were wounded in a tragic accident near Guaranteed Rate Field on Sunday night. The incident occurred when a 24-year-old woman driving a sedan lost control and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with an SUV. Both the driver and her 21-year-old passenger succumbed to their injuries after being transported to Stronger Hospital. The passenger was identified by authorities as Natalia Andreacevedo Mendez of Delaware. The driver's identity remains unknown. The occupants of the SUV were taken to University of Chicago Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
