
Fatal crash near Osceola results in death of Kansas City woman
In a tragic incident near Osceola, Missouri, a fatal two-car collision left one woman dead and two others severely injured on Friday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2023 Nissan Kicks and a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 were traveling northbound on Highway 13, just one mile north of Osceola, when they crashed around 3 p.m. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. The injured parties include a 31-year-old woman from Kansas City and a 66-year-old woman from Lee's Summit, both of whom were in the Nissan. Tragically, a 66-year-old woman from Kansas City lost her life in the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 52-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries. This marks the 36th fatal crash of 2025 for Troop D according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
