Fatal crash in Sterling Heights involving 6 vehicles
A tragic incident occurred in Sterling Heights on Saturday evening resulting in the death of a man and a woman, with two others hospitalized, following a six-vehicle collision according to authorities. The accident took place around 6:30 p.m. close to the junction of 15 Mile and Schoenherr roads. The crash involved a 33-year-old man from Sterling Heights who was driving at high speed on 15 Mile Road before colliding with a Ford Bronco, leading to a chain reaction that involved four more vehicles. Regrettably, the 79-year-old woman driving the Ford and the man driving the other vehicle did not survive. Two other drivers struck by the incident were taken to the hospital for medical care. While investigations are ongoing, police have yet to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
