Fatal crash in northwest Wichita
A fatal accident occurred in northwest Wichita when a driver going in the wrong direction crashed into three other cars on Sunday evening. The driver, who was killed in the crash, collided head-on with two vehicles and then struck another car on Highway 96 near West Street. Several individuals from the other cars involved sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital with potentially serious injuries. It is not yet known if impairment played a role in the incident.
