Fatal crash in Milam County - KWKT
Two individuals have tragically lost their lives, and three others were injured in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 79 in Milam County, Texas. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at around 6:55 p.m. A Dodge Ram truck towing a trailer was traveling eastbound when it crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Ford Escape driven by an 18-year-old. The Escape then struck another vehicle behind the Ram. The passengers in the second vehicle sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the driver of the Escape and a teenage passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
