Fatal crash in Jessup after woman hit by stolen car
A tragic incident occurred when a woman lost her life in a collision involving a stolen vehicle, according to Howard County police. The accident, which took place on Friday just after 3 p.m. on Guilford Road near Twelve Sons Court and Mission Road, involved four vehicles. The stolen car attempted to overtake a turning Tesla by siding with it, then hitting another car and ultimately colliding head-on with a Honda Civic. The driver of the Honda was taken to Howard County General Hospital, where she later passed away. Four boys fled from the stolen car, with one being hospitalized in stable condition while the other three are still at large. Fortunately, no one else was hurt in the incident. The stolen car and the other vehicles involved suffered significant damage, as seen in footage captured by SkyTeam 11. Police have not yet pressed charges as the investigation is ongoing, and Guilford Road was temporarily closed for around four hours.
