Fatal Crash in Iowa Park, Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested
WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly striking a young teenager with a pickup in Iowa Park overnight. The incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. Saturday morning, in the 500 block of West Highway. According to Iowa Park Police Chief Steve Davis, a 13-year-old male was riding a bike and Andrew Tellez, 26, was travelling Eastbound in a white Chevy truck when the teen was hit. Tellez was later detained in the Wichita County Detention Center the same day and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle. No further information is known at the time of publication.
