Fatal crash in Fuquay-Varina: NCSHP
A tragic incident occurred in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina late Wednesday evening as a result of a single-vehicle collision with a tree. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place at approximately 11:22 p.m. on South Main Street close to Bowling Road. The driver, identified as Christopher Mena, 21, from Fuquay-Varina, was the only person in the vehicle and sadly did not survive the accident. The NCSHP mentioned that speed may have played a role in the crash.
