Fatal crash in Cook County: 2 motorcyclists killed in rear-end accident, according to ISP
Two individuals on motorcycles tragically lost their lives in a collision in south suburban Cook County on Friday night. According to the Illinois State Police, the incident occurred on Illinois Route 394 northbound, just north of Dyer Road east of Glenwood. The crash involved two motorcycles traveling northbound, with one rear-ending the other at around 9:50 p.m. The driver of the front motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver passed away after being transported to a nearby hospital. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified one of the victims as 24-year-old Sarah Gudeman. The road was closed for several hours for investigation purposes. The cause of the rear-end collision remains unknown, and authorities have not disclosed the identity of the other driver involved.
