Fatal crash in Citrus Heights under investigation by local authorities
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a fatal car accident in Citrus Heights on Sunday evening. Firefighters arrived at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Fleetwood Drive after receiving reports of a collision involving an overturned pickup truck and another vehicle with significant damage. Unfortunately, the driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Both the Citrus Heights Police Department and the California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash. This story is still developing.
