Fatal crash concludes Milwaukee police pursuit at Brady and Humboldt.
A police pursuit in Milwaukee on Tuesday night resulted in a tragic crash, leading to a fatality. The chase began at around 9:22 p.m. in the area near Humboldt and Pleasant Streets. Police officers tried to stop a reckless driver, but the driver refused and fled, resulting in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of N. Humboldt Avenue and W. Brady Street. The driver of the other vehicle, aged 29, suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the hospital. A passenger in the struck vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries and is currently receiving medical care at a hospital. The 22-year-old driver of the fleeing vehicle was arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries. Criminal charges will be pursued by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
