Fatal crash at Chesapeake gas station: CPD
A tragic incident occurred at a gas station in Chesapeake, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to another. The incident took place in the parking lot of the BP gas station on South Military Highway when a car veered off the road and struck the two men. One of the men succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while the other is expected to recover. The driver of the car also sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Prior to the accident, the men were selling watermelons from the back of a pickup truck in the gas station parking lot. A witness who had been speaking with the men before the accident occurred shared his account of the events. The police are currently investigating the crash, and charges against the driver may be forthcoming.
