Fatal collision involving motorcycle and vehicle under investigation by KCKPD
A tragic accident occurred on Sunday night in the 1800 block of Merriam Lane in Kansas City, Kansas, resulting in the death of a man involved in a motorcycle-vehicle collision. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the man deceased in the roadway. According to a spokesperson from the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle westbound on Merriam Lane when he attempted to pass a vehicle and collided with an oncoming vehicle making a left turn onto 18th Street from eastbound Merriam Lane. The Traffic Division of the KCKPD is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
