Fatal ATV accident discovered through missing person investigation.
Early Friday morning in Hart County, Georgia, officials discovered a missing individual deceased near an overturned ATV. Deputies from the Hart County Sheriff's Office had been called to the scene on Judd Cole Road in response to a missing person report made by the individual's family. The family informed deputies that the person had left on a four-wheeler hours earlier and had not returned. After searching the area, deputies located an overturned four-wheeler on Baileys Garage Road behind Flat Shoals Church. It was near this ATV that the missing individual was found deceased. Emergency medical services and the Coroner's Office were called to the scene, and the Georgia State Patrol arrived to aid in the crash investigation. Official details such as the victim's identity and age have not been disclosed, and the incident is currently being investigated.
