Fatal accident on Morgan and Rowan county border involving construction vehicle
A man from West Liberty tragically lost his life in a devastating crash that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Kentucky State Police are diligently investigating the incident, which took place on KY-519. The initial findings suggest that the driver, Donnie Smith, 68, crossed the center line, striking a parked construction truck and leading to his unfortunate death. Anthony Thomas, who was inside the construction truck at the time, fortunately escaped unharmed. The authorities are still looking into the circumstances surrounding this fatal collision.
