Fatal accident near Claycomo Ford plant on U.S. 69
One individual has tragically passed away following an accident near the Ford plant in Claycomo, Missouri. The incident occurred before 6 a.m. on U.S. 69 highway close to Grove Street, as reported by a spokesperson from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The collision involved a vehicle and a motorcyclist, resulting in the motorcyclist's death at the location of the crash. The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Blue Springs, was identified as the deceased. Initial findings indicate that while the motorcycle was traveling eastbound, a car traveling westbound attempted a left turn into a parking lot. This maneuver led to the motorcycle colliding with the car, ejecting the motorcyclist from the bike. FOX4 is en route to the scene and will provide further updates as information becomes available.
