Fatal accident involving tractor-trailer on I-75.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers have reported that the driver of a tractor trailer tragically passed away on Sunday evening after the truck veered off southbound I-75 and collided with a row of trees. The front part of the tractor broke off upon impact and ignited. The incident occurred around 8 pm near mile marker 370 in Marion County, when the truck veered off the road onto the shoulder. The collision led the truck to crash into the trees and jackknife, resulting in the separation of the tractor from the trailer, which then caught fire. Regrettably, the driver lost their life at the scene. Identity of the driver has not been disclosed. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
