Fatal accident as car overturns into stream in Fulton County

Authorities are currently investigating a tragic incident in Fulton County, Ohio, where a car crashed into a creek, resulting in a fatality. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene early Sunday morning, where they found a car submerged in Brush Creek. It was reported that the vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Preston Boundy of Defiance, Ohio, was traveling south on County Road 25 when it veered off the road, crashed into a guard rail and bridge abutment, and landed in the creek. Unfortunately, Boundy did not survive the crash. While it is unknown if Boundy was wearing a seatbelt, police suspect that alcohol may have been a contributing factor. The impact of the crash also caused damage to the bridge, leading to a closure of that area. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route while the investigation continues.
