Elderly man killed in Crete tractor accident
An elderly man lost his life on Tuesday afternoon in rural Crete when the tractor he was driving overturned, fatally injuring him. An eight-member fire brigade rescue team responded to the scene in the village of Skonizo, in the Hania regional unit. The man was pulled from the vehicle unconscious and transported by ambulance to hospital, where his death was confirmed. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
