Easton man dies after motorcycle crash in Thomaston
THOMASTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A 68-year-old Easton man has died following a crash Sunday afternoon on Route 8 in Thomaston, Connecticut State Police said. State police said that John Kastanaras was operating a 2004 Harley-Davidson FXSTDI on the Route 8 South Exit 40 off-ramp in Thomaston when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a metal guardrail around 1:30 p.m. He was transported to the hospital, where he died of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time, state police said. Anybody with additional information is asked to contact Troop L at (860) 626-7900.
