Driver pleads guilty in deadly Cohoes pedestrian accident

Everett had previously pleaded not guilty but now admits to hitting and then running over 93-year-old Charles Allendorph with his car, causing Allendorph's death. The incident occurred in August near Congress and Newark Streets in Cohoes. Everett was arrested on the day of the incident. The ACDA expects Everett to receive a prison sentence ranging from five to 15 years, with his sentencing scheduled for January 16 after being held at the Albany County Jail.
