Driver killed in single-vehicle crash with tree: Authorities
In Hampton, Virginia, a tragic incident occurred on Saturday night when a driver veered off the road near the 100 block of Saunders Road. Hampton Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident and unfortunately found the driver deceased. The driver had left the road, crashed through a fence, hit a tree, and ultimately came to a stop against a house at the intersection of Saunders Road and Edgemont Drive. Thankfully, the house did not sustain major damage. An investigation into the accident is currently being conducted by HPD.
