Driver detained following fatal hit-and-run incident in St. Clair Shores
Authorities reported that a hit-and-run collision resulted in a fatality in St. Clair Shores on Saturday morning. The incident occurred on Francis Street close to Champine Street at approximately 9:40 a.m. Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a 76-year-old woman from St. Clair Shores injured on the ground. Subsequently, a 31-year-old woman from the same location was apprehended later that day. The case is currently awaiting assessment by the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, with further specifics yet to be provided.
